On June 26, 2025, representatives from Emseni Farming—Mzikayise Ndlovu, Mfanifikile Khamo, and Janis—conducted a gardening workshop in the Ndwedwe community. The workshop included both theoretical and practical training on planting. It was sponsored by Emseni Farming and RTS Embeweni Place of Seed.
Looking ahead, Emseni Farming plans to build a seedling nursery for the community. The initiative was well received, with local small-scale farmers already growing beans, cabbages, spinach, beetroots, sugarcane, and maize.
