Community Support
Our farming footprint is based in rural KZN, South Africa where we operate in harmony with our neighbours.
We have several farming and social initiatives where we are constantly active.
This initiative was inspired by the vision of Reverend Erlo Stegen, founder of the KwaSizabantu Mission, who believed each family should have their own garden to provide food for their home.
Rev. Stegen’s emphasised that spiritual nourishment must be accompanied by physical sustenance. He often said, “You must feed the people first, and then preach to them, so they are able to receive Christ.” Guided by this principle, Emseni Farming continues to empower communities through agriculture.

Youth Conference
As Emseni Farming, we are part of a greater team that hosts thousands of children for a youth week twice a year and also assists with dishing out food, preparing accommodation, helping with activities for the sports day. Our farming efforts aim to create the means for this large event, where the children are given food, a sleeping place, hot water and biblical teaching for free.
