On Saturday, 17 May 2025, Bonlé had the honour of hosting a Junior Netball tournament for 7 of the surrounding schools; Bonginkosi Primary School, Khomba Primary School, Zamazisa Primary School, Shebe Primary School, Kranskop Primary School, Domino Servite School (DSS), Ocheni Primary School accepted the invite to compete for the Bonlé Netball trophy.
The beautiful sunny weather made it a perfect day for great fun. Snacks, including our delicious Bonlé Bonyo was provided during the day to keep energy levels high.
With a lot of hard work and perseverance DSS, Bonginkosi, Ocheni and Shebe made it to the semi-finals. With a very close shave and a hearty scuffle Shebe and Ocheni proceeded to the final. It was a close match, both teams having earned their spots in the final well. Shebe Primary School came out the victor of the Bonlé Netball trophy with a winning score of 12 to 8.
We ended the day with a healthy and nutritious meal paired with a fun game between coaches and officials.
Bonlé applauds the vigour and perseverance of all learners in the tournament. We look forward to future events and activities.
