These beautiful and big cabbages come from the gardens of the hard-working hands of the Nene Family. Emseni Farming gave the seedlings and with eagerness the family members planted their seedlings and are now able to harvest a healthy crop of vegetables.
Emseni Farming has started the year with excitement! We have the privilege of giving 5 schools – Shebe, Zamazisa, Ocheni, Kranskop, and Khomba Primary School – so much joy to with new netball poles and balls so that they can play their netball games. See how they play!
As much as it is important to plant, it is imperative that the plants are looked after and nourished. This involves going into the garden, weeding, watering the plants and applying fertliser. Here, these families are putting sawdust on the ground around the cabbage plants to keep the water from washing away the soil.
On the 06/06/2025, the Union Bible Institute in Pietermaritzburg had a wonderful day, when Emseni Farming officially donated a seedling nursery to them. The former principal of the Bible college, Dr. Rev. Mnisi was thankful for this nursery. He had spent two days visiting the Kwasizabantu Mission with an aim of doing a seedling workshop….
